Fotio - A Photo Booth Without the Booth - is located in Chicago. Can you travel for my wedding or party outside of Chicago?

Most of our events are in Chicago or the adjacent suburbs. We offer free travel for events in the city of Chicago. We can travel elsewhere but it will be very expensive. 

It looks like all the photos are in black and white. What's up with that?

We love the look of black and white photos and how great everyone looks in them. With black and white guests are more likely to be themselves without worrying about blemishes, food in teeth etc. Trust us, your guests will love the way they look and be thanking you for the fun time! Plus, Fotio's advanced image processing allows us to filter the photos being displayed on the slideshow without actually altering the photos you'll receive on the USB drive. The files you'll receive will be in full color so you can decide on the perfect look later.

The pictures look great! How much lighting do you need?

Our lighting setup is very minimal and does not require any extra space. We have an old-time looking flash that attaches to the top of Fotio which makes everyone look amazing in your pictures.

How long do you need to set up?

Setting up Fotio is quick and easy and we can be ready to shoot in minutes. But we usually arrive an hour early just to be safe.

Do you watermark your images?

Heck no! Nothing ruins a beautiful photo quicker than a nasty logo in the corner. They're your images, not our advertisements.

I don't get it. Where do the prints pop out? How are the photos displayed?

Instead of individual prints, Fotio displays all of the pictures taken in a random slideshow on it’s beautiful iMac glass screen. The slide show will continually update with new photos as they are taken and believe us, it will draw a crowd. After the party, guests can download the pictures for free, or easily purchase prints from the provided link!

What's all this talk about an online photo gallery?

After each event, we like to upload your photos to fotio.co/events so that your guests can view, save, and share them after the party is over. Each gallery can be password protected for your privacy, or open for easier access for your guests. Guests can download all copies free of charge.

I see little red tickets. What are those for?

Everybody likes little red tickets! We custom print tickets for guests to take home. The information on the tickets directs them to the online gallery's web address, where they can enter the password to view all the photos. They can also use any of the photos from the gallery however they want.

Who will run Fotio at my party?

One of Fotio's highly trained photographers will set up the camera and make sure guests are getting great pictures. We are passionate artists and photographers who love helping you and your guests pose!
